FQCB Theme #20 is Cowboy or Cowgirl Gear (boots or spurs or hats) starts 14 January 2023

 Howdy! Welcome to the farm--FarmQuest Challenge Blog!

Theme #20 requires at least 1 image of these 3 options:

*cowboy boots

*boot spurs

*cowboy hat

You can certainly use all three, 2 of the 3 or just 1 gear option.

Competition runs January 14-27, 2023 starting and ending at 12:30am CT/Chicago or 6:30am UK. 

Each participant may enter up to 3 new themed (cowboy/cowgirl gear) projects per challenge.

NanaConnie's used a QKR Stampede image and she says the background dp is vellum!!! How cool is that?!!! His cowhide vest and red bandana are some additional impressive cowboy elements! Awesome card!!

Cowgirl and Cowboy cards are farm-tastic or should I say 'ranch-tastic'?!!!

The details, like patterned papers and coloring of the images are perfect for the challenge theme!

The cowgirl card shows that she still likes to be feminine and the cowboy card's background looks like an old weathered shed that's been painted many times with different colors through the years and generations of family members! At least that's how I'm imagining it! (becca)

Aren't the die-cuts awesome!?!!! I love the good luck horseshoe accent! And having those against the corrugated cardboard and some twine wrap makes for a fantastic masculine birthday card!

Some Great Plains and Western wear touches include the buffalo plaid cardstock, the plaid flannel tied wrap-around, and the sunflower.

FarmQuest DT Call

 Howdy! FarmQuest Challenge Blog needs 1 Design Team (DT) member to start by December 13, 2022. 

If you like the outdoors, rural, farm/ranching, country topics then this is the crafting challenge blog for you. 

FarmQuest is still in its baby stages after being launched on March 28, 2022. New theme(s) challenges are launched on the 14th and 28th of each month. 

The themes on the 14th have a reminder post on the 20th and the 28th's midway reminder comes on the 6th which thus far I've handled as the blog owner.

The DT member(s) provide themed inspiration project(s) for the main theme launches on the 14th and 28th. 

Also thus far I'm the only person doing commenting. As entry submission numbers increase, I will ask DT members to start assisting with commenting. 

So currently it is super easy to be a DT member at FarmQuest Challenge Blog.

FQCB Theme #16 is Pumpkins or Turkeys or Cranberries starting 14 November 2022

 Howdy! Thanks for coming to the farm--FarmQuest Challenge Blog's Theme #16!

Theme #16 has 3 options. You must use at least 1 image of 1 option.

*pumpkins

*turkeys

*cranberries

You can certainly use all 3 or 2 of the 3 or pick 1. 

Each participant may enter up to 3 new themed projects so you could do 1 project for each option! Competition starts November 14 and ends on November 27th. The time for publication and the deadline closing are 12:30am CT/Chicago or 6:30am UK.

Dottie's made a fabulous Harvest card targeted to a special person/cutest pumpkin she knows! How adorable is that?!!! The double bow with black roses is a terrific embellishment!

Isn't this framed focal panel spectacular?!!! NanaConnie used Promarkers and gel pens to do the coloring. The pumpkin accent ribbon adds another way to use a pumpkin image. She's made a marvelous gratitude card!

Isn't this a hoot that all 3 of us did pumpkins?!! My pumpkins and stems are paper-pieced. The patterned papers have been in my stash for probably 10+ years! The layered leaf stickers are actually newer purchases as is the textured sunflower sticker. The base is a flat A2 size.
