FQCB #30 Theme is Farmhouse Kitchen with DT CALL starts 14 June 2023

 Howdy! Yee-haw! Welcome to the farm!

FarmQuest Challenge Blog's Theme #30 is

Farmhouse Kitchen

(cooking, baking, appliances, tools, mugs, dinnerware, beverage pitchers, tiered trays, lazy susan type spinner plates/trays, table linens, oven mitts, aprons,...so anything you'd typically find in the kitchen of a farmhouse!)

June 14-27, 2023 with start and end times at 12:30am CT/Chicago and 6:30am UK for 2 time references.

Bragging rights are possible. Each participant can enter 3 times during the 13 days of competition. Check the main page of the blog sidebar for accepted formats of projects.

Our FQCB design team has some "Cooking in the Kitchen with Dinah" perfect inspiration ideas:

[FQCB #30 elements: metalware bucket, coffeepot, mug, and creamer pot; also cherries, & fabric napkin]

NanaConnie wrote that this started as a clipart image! With watercolor paints, alcohol markers, and gel pen highlights, she transferred this into a realistic still life!! Woo-eee!!! Thank you.

 [FQCB #30 elements: over mitt, cutting boards, towels, measuring spoon, rolling pin, sideboard for kitchen tools and accessories. ]

Don't you just love the bluish gray tones of the buffalo plaid?!!! The blue and white checked ribbon is another farmhouse textile classic, too! Dottie's created a very nice kitchen scene! Thank you.

[FQCB #30 elements: sugar and flour containers, mixing bowl, scale, chickens and doily in the die-cut banner]

When going through some farmhouse kitchen die-cuts and card kits, I thought the background pieces could look like wallpaper or could be table linens. Then the containers, scale, and mixing bowl will probably be on the counter or pantry. The colors tones give a rustic country look.
