FQCB Theme #28 is Rain Gear starting 14 May 2023

FarmQuest Challenge Blog's #28 Theme

Rain Gear

--umbrellas, rain boots/galoshes, slickers, waterproof jackets/ponchos, and whatever gear's needed when it's raining on the farm, campground, tree house, lake, backyard, etc.

May 14-27, 2023 with start and end times of 12:30am CT/Chicago or 6:30am UK for 2 time references.

Bragging rights are available. Each participant can enter 3 times during the 13 days of competition--with #28 new themed projects. Project formats can be cards, ATCs, bookmarks/tags, pages or spread layouts for journals, calendars, planners & TNs, and larger layout pages or spreads for scrapbooking.

When you wear bright sunny colors, it's easy to smile! I love how Diane has split the sentence into 2 parts to make 2 clouds! Brilliant design! Wow!

I like the pairing of the cheery flowers with the sentiment die-cut! It did start with white lettering and colored pencils came to the rescue. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are gray..."

It's clever of Nana Connie to cut the image into a giant puddle shape! And more curved lines like in the mice and raindrops gives it a polished cohesive appearance! Delightful!

It's wonderful to have Dottie's creativity expressions again on FQCB!! We've missed her wonderful cards! Such a terrific interpretation for the theme!
