With a happy heart, I'm excited to share the Top 3 Barnraisers selected from the 10 entries for Theme #11 at FarmQuest!

I'm very appreciative of our blog followers, readers, and participants! Let's keep this Howdy Hoedown with Theme #12 that was released 21 hours ago! Theme #12 has 2 options as an either or--porch furniture and/or quilt(s). 

For porch furniture, the images can be benches, rocking chairs, swings, bistro sets, etc. 

On the blog post, my inspiration design card has both a bench and a quilt (faux image made by 2-tone block patterned paper). Your entry/entries must have at least 1 image of porch furniture or 1 quilt to qualify for bragging rights.

 Howdy! Welcome back to the farm! The midway reminder time has come already!

FARMQUEST Challenge Blog's Theme #11=

Anything Farm Country Goes

 means

 Anything Goes that has a farm rural country vibe.

That includes topic categories like fishing, camping, fire pits and/or campfires, pond/lake life, porch furniture, farming, ranching, orchards/gardens/produce stands, fences, farm equipment, farm animals, fabrics like denim, plaids, and ginghams, picnics, harvest, planting, grain bins, silos, barns, country roads, and so many more.

Competition ends September 13, 2022 at 12:30 am Central Time/Chicago.

This "Anything Goes Farm Country Vibe" challenge theme will return to FarmQuest in late December.

Design inspiration:

This is a spectacular card! Terrific vibrant patterned cardstocks are used for the background to the pickup truck die-cut.

A bit about Janis' crafting adventures: 

Janis Lewis is the owner/administrator for 2 important Facebook groups for crafting bloggers: Paper, Paper, Paper and DT Calls and Craft Challenges and DT Calls. She also owns Crafting Happiness challenge blog, and serves on several design teams. Her personal crafting blog address is shown on her card's photo. Make sure to leave her some comment love at one of her places!

Some vendor notes for the card: several elements are from Simple Stories card kit and then Fancy Pants Designs. The sentiment focal's white lettering was color-filled to add some bold tones to the card front. Blue ink edges the sentiment focal, paper 'ribbon' strip and the background panel. A bit of denim print paper scrap acts as a faux floor for the gardening objects. And a sweet partial metallic foil butterfly accents the 'sky' above the daisies.

FQCB Theme #11 Anything Farm Country Goes Challenge

 Howdy! Welcome to the farm--farm and rural country life topics are the creativity themes for FarmQuest Challenge Blog! 

Theme #11 for August 28-September 13, 2022

is a new theme type for us to try since FQCB started in late March 2022. I'm thinking to put this in the schedule once every 3 months. If you would like this to be offered every 2 weeks, comment on this posting or place a note in your FQCB listing in your blog post for me to read. 

I'm calling it Anything Farm Country Goes.

Your project(s) must reflect farm/rural country topics. Possible categories are: farming/ranching, farmers markets/produce stands, orchards, gardens, camping, hiking, dirt or gravel roads, pond/lake life, fishing, covered bridges, quaint country church scenes, hayrides, sleigh rides, hay baling or other planting or harvesting farm topics, clothing/fabric/patterns like denim, plaid, gingham, straw hats, jeans, overalls, etc.

FQCB owner Becca S has a denim with faux straw/mesh card project:

Peachy tan specialty paper 6" square base with a 5" x 7" kraft patterned cardstock background with a 4" x 6" denim patterned paper on top. Straw-looking mesh, a sentiment tag, some amber heart gems, 2 layered leaf die-cut stickers, and 1 sunflower textured sticker are the embellishments. Most of those have an autumn season connection. 

 also has 2 Garden Harvest topic card projects to share:

Card base is the light yellow topped with kraft brown. I love the striped ribbon that I purchased several years ago! The textured foil leaves add shine. The wood laser die-cut came painted orange, so I just handwrote "Grateful" onto it. 3 amber gold crystal gems are the last embellishments.

Card base is the aqua topped with the dark brown wood siding cardstock by Fancy Pants Designs' Lake Life paper pad. A pumpkin shaped doily becomes the large backdrop focal. 2 die-cut ephemera from Simple Stories (flower trio and scooter), along with a orange glitter wood laser die-cut pumpkin and a sentiment posy complete this country harvest card.

(for card #2: I only had a scooter die-cut to use but would have enjoyed showing a golf cart. My hubs and I are able to share my mom's and it's a nice way to ride out around her farm or for us to bring to our little 1400 people community!!! We've got 2 town friends that live about 2 blocks away that stop by on their wheelchair-type motorized scooters. Another 2 town friends living about 3 blocks north of us ride their bikes by quite a bit in the spring and fall.)

PS= DT CALL= I would love to have 3-4 craft artisans that love rural country topics to be part of a small DT crew for FarmQuest Challenge Blog. You would share 1 project for the main posting theme reveals on the 14th and 28th of each month. Pretty easy. As submissions grows, DT members will be asked to help out with commenting on the submissions. However entry numbers have been low. Our highest number of entries has been 10.
