FarmQuest Challenge Blog's #29 Theme

Deer

--it can be a herd, a yearling, a fawn, doe with her fawn, etc.

May 28-June 13, 2023 with start and end times of 12:30am CT/Chicago or 6:30am UK for 2 time references.

Bragging rights are available. Each participant can enter 3 times during the 13 days of competition--with #29 (new) themed projects. Project formats can be cards, ATCs, bookmarks/tags, pages or spread layouts for journals, calendars, planners & TNs, and larger layout pages or spreads for scrapbooking.

[FQCB #29 element: stamped deer and more deer in washi tape scene]

I like the pairing of dark charcoal specialty paper with the stamped deer ! I was initially going to keep this as black, white, gray/silver but then I thought the bit of green geometric paper could be sort of like faux grass. I like how the white thread is circling the silver moon. The idea was to create a dark night scene with active deer.

Delightful deer card, Nana Connie! The image was printed in grayscale and then she applied watercolor and/or polychrome pencils for color! Great ideas for techniques! It's an awesome autumn season scene!

It's wonderful to have Dottie's creativity expressions again on FQCB!! We've missed her wonderful cards! Such a terrific interpretation for the theme! The kraft card base and dark brown yarn add more rustic woods reminders to her card!

DT member Diane: has stepped down due to the need of putting family first. We honor her decision and wish her and her family our very best. We will miss her outstanding creative cards!
