FQCB Thanksgiving Harvest Appreciation Cards Theme #1

 

Howdy! Welcome to country rural living at FarmQuest!

This page option extra challenge is for appreciation cards

with Thanksgiving sentiments and harvest themes. 

Theme #1 for the card(s) recipe:

a. use the phrase "give thanks"

and

b. use a mix of fruits and vegetables

[like a cornucopia (also known as the 'horn of plenty') or garland table centerpiece or seed catalog image, etc.]

Competition starts May 14, 2022 at 12:30 am Central Time USA/Chicago or 6:30am UK

and

ends May 27, 2022 at 12:30 am Central Time USA/Chicago or 6:30 am UK. Please adjust accordingly for your time zone around the world.

Inspiration Card #1= mushrooms with a mix of fruits and veggies

Credits: mushroom print cardstock is part of a 6" square pad called "In The Forest" by Craft Consortium 2021 and the enamel dots are part of the collection, too; the photo image is from a local hospital health and wellness advertisement; the kraft colored circle cardstock is recycled packaging...I should have added a picture of a squirrel or something...hmm...

Inspiration Card #2 (seed catalog cover image ephemera)

Credits: alpha tiles are Freckled Fawn; the washi tape, I think, is Mind's Eye; the seed catalog and little circle ephemera are from Simple Stories Card Kit "Love Grows Here"; metal 'ribbon' was bought recently at Dollar Tree (yes!)

The USA observes Thanksgiving Day in late November, so if you join each competition you will have 7 cards ready to go by that special day! This challenge page option can be an opportunity to create farm harvest themed appreciation cards that can be used year round.
